PLEASE CALL TOLL FREE 1-800-515-7113 SPECIAL ORDER Titan's 1.5" silk, soft dome tweeter makes all of those important details much more precise and clear than any other. The silk domes are softer on the ears, they filter out nasal distortion and fuzz that are most typical in metal domes. Our 5.25" mid-range is well engineered for the reproduction of vocals. With vocals being an extremely important aspect in your listening experience we made sure that this impressive driver could keep up with any vocal octave. With it's low mass high strength construction it can move at any speed with style and panache. The Titan's are made to cover all ranges in music reproduction, and this is why Earthquake chose to include four different sized drivers. This eight inch mid-bass subwoofer can bring out the mid-bass notes that many towers struggle to produce because they have only one sized driver. The Titan's woofers are all light in mass and are extremely quick in response accurate in reproduction. Titan's 12" subwoofers are well built with custom die-cast aluminum baskets, highly compressed foam surrounds and silk coated pulp cones. Like the 8" these subs are also light in mass and can move fast like a cheetah and yet pulse like a heart beat when needed. The cherry cabinetry consists of 16 steam bent layers of cherry wood, that are delicately wrapped around the interlocking braced enclosure. Cabinet panel vibration can be a significant cause of sound coloration. Even though the scale of the vibrations is small, the large dispersing area means that the sound output from the panels is significant and this may damage the overall quality. There are two main techniques used to reduce cabinet coloration – damping and bracing. The adding of damping panels to the inside of the enclosure walls, with dampening pads, does much to reduce resonance hangover, but not much to reduce panel flexing. The flexing is non-linear and the distorted harmonic structure of the total output from the speaker changes the quality of the sound. Stiffening of the panels reduces the amplitude of flexing and this can be done by a combination of increasing the panel thickness and bracing. Sound Lock is an interlocking grid of panels arranged in two orthogonal planes – rather like a bottle crate. It is easily the most effective method yet devised of bracing a cabinet. The thickness and spacing of the panels can readily be altered, depending on the frequency range of interest and the panels are perforated acoustically to connect the individual cells and allow the driver to see the whole volume inside the cabinet. specifications RHEAS' 1.5" silk, soft dome tweeter makes all of those important details much more precise and clear than any other. The silk domes are softer on the ears, they filter out nasal distortion and fuzz that are most typical in metal domes. The 6 1/2" mid-range is well engineered for the reproduction of vocals. With vocals being an extremely important interpretation in your listening experience we made sure that this impressive driver could keep up with any vocal octave. With it's low mass high strength construction it can move at any speed during any musical or theatrical phase. Since this mid-range is larger than your typical 5 1/4" mid-range it is capable of shadow deep vocals with out subs from the tower compensating.
